Past Activities

September 2020: Bosnia-Herzegovina, 25 years after the war.

The week from 19 to 27 September is #PeaceWeek. For this reason, PAX organizes the PAX Power to the People College Tour in cooperation with many study and student associations throughout the country. We at SILA and ELSA Nijmegen also participate in this!

On Monday 14 September at 19:30-20:30 PAX will be organizing a webinar about Bosnia-Herzegovina. It has been 25 years since the end of the war in Bosnia, but after all this time this chapter hasn´t yet been closed. How is the country doing now and what effects of the war are still being felt? Why do we, in the Netherlands, play a role in this? Find out during this webinar! The webinar will be given by Dion van den Berg, Team leader Europe at PAX, the board of Mladi BiH, a youth association, and Nasiha Nuhanović, a law student at the University of Sarajevo.

Interested? You can sign up at https://actie.paxvoorvrede.nl/actie/webinar-on-bosnia-herzegovina-25-years-after-the-war/. The webinar will take place via Zoom. We hope to see many of you!
